Principal Audit & Compliance Engineer The person in this role will serve on a team of professional auditors ensuring the integrity of the AS9100 multi-site certification. Summary of team: The Raytheon's Corporate Quality Management System Audit Team is made up of a group of professional, trained and experienced Aerospace Auditors, certified to industry standards. The primary role of the team is to ensure the integrity of the multi-site AS9100 certification auditing the sites and working directly with the certification body. Through data and risk analysis, issues are identified and communicated to the site leadership, the Quality Excellence Council and the Mission Assurance Council. We have a dual reporting system where we take direction from the Corporate Mission Assurance Director and Vice President as well as direction from the IDS Mission Assurance leadership. Responsibilities: Lead Auditor and team member of Raytheon's Corporate Quality Management System Audit Team. Primary responsibilities include: ? Lead, conduct, and plan internal QMS audits for compliance to the AS9100 series of standards in support of Raytheon's Enterprise Quality Management System across all domestic US sites. ? Perform all formal responsibilities of a Lead Auditor such as audit team selection; audit planning; representing the audit team with Raytheon site leadership; conducting opening and closing meetings and daily debriefs with management; completing an audit report and issuing, reviewing and approving formal corrective action. ? Serve as liaison and interface to Raytheon's Certification body (NQA) during site certification or recertification audits. Facilitate NQA audit schedules, logistics, and closure of corrective actions. ? Analyze audit performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement; recommend and facilitate Enterprise level improvement initiatives and actions. ? Conduct comprehensive audit preparation and planning based on historical and current performance data. ? Support special audits and independent assessments as required by Raytheon Business units. Lead Auditor certification (AEA), including AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) certification to be completed within 4 to 12 months of accepting position. ? This position requires up to 75% travel and can be located anywhere within the domestic US, located within convenient access to a major US airport. Basic Qualifications:
? BS in Engineering/Technical or equivalent degree ? Minimum 8 years quality assurance experience ? Minimum 8 years of Aerospace QMS auditing experience ? Able to be certified as an Aerospace Experienced Auditor (AEA) within one year ? Able to travel up to 75% throughout domestic US and Canada ? Able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance within 6-12 months ? Proficiency with Microsoft office suite skills (Excel, Powerpoint...) Preferred Qualifications: ? Existing certification to AATT (Aerospace Auditor Transition Training) ? Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead teams ? ASQ Certification (CQE, CMQ/OE, or CQA) ?
